Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our team. Responsibilities and Duties
Provides daily care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication administration.
Monitors and records the client's physical condition, behavioral changes, and medication use.
Collaborates with the healthcare team to report on the client's condition.
Performs light household chores to keep the client's environment safe and clean.
Provides emotional support and companionship to the client.
Respects the client's rights and maintains confidentiality.
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
High school diploma or equivalent, but a Certification in Caregiving or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience working as a caregiver or similar role in professional healthcare or in-home care settings.
Knowledge of basic healthcare and hygiene standards.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work with a diverse range of clients.
Patient, empathetic, and able to handle stressful situations
CPR/First Aid certificate is preferred.
Necessary Experience
At least one year of experience in a caregiver role is strongly desired. Applicants with more extensive experience, particularly in caring for individuals with special needs or chronic illnesses, will be given stronger consideration.
