Responsibilities and Duties
Collaborate with clients to understand and fulfill event requirements and objectives.
Manage the sourcing and negotiating of services with vendors, venues, and suppliers.
Coordinate staff, volunteers, and vendors during events.
Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of events.
Provide regular updates and progress reports to clients.
Identify areas for improvement and implement changes for future events.
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
Proven experience in event management.
Strong vendor management skills.
Excellent coordination and organization abilities.
Exceptional client service and communication skills.
Experience
Minimum 3 years experience as an Event Manager or in a similar role within the events industry.
Additional Requirements
The candidate must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when events are scheduled.
