Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a professional Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be adept at taking drink orders, making recommendations to customers based on their preferences, and preparing and serving a variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. This role will also require management of bar inventory, including liquor, mixers, and garnishes, and ensuring a clean and organized bar area.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Take drink orders and provide recommendations based on customers' preferences.
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Monitor and manage bar inventory, including liquor, mixers, and garnishes.
Handle cash transactions and provide accurate change.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
Check identification to verify the legal drinking age of customers.
Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate should have:
Prior experience in a similar role
Thorough knowledge of drink recipes and serving techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
Keen attention to detail and cleanliness
Additional Requirements:
Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages and possess relevant licensing where required by law.
