Job Description:
RainbowKids Learning Center is seeking a compassionate, attentive, and dedicated Daycare Assistant to join our vibrant and nurturing learning environment. In this role, you will support our mission by assisting in implementing educational programs, ensuring the safety and well-being of our children, and maintaining open and positive communication with their parents or guardians.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide close and attentive supervision to children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.

Collaborate with lead caregivers to plan and execute age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.

Assist with basic care routines including diaper changes, feeding, and dressing.

Support the implementation of educational programs, assist children with learning activities, and provide one-on-one support as needed.

Maintain open and positive communication with parents or guardians regarding children's daily activities and development.
Skills and Competencies:
Applicants must have a genuine love for children, an understanding of child development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and maintain a cheerful and positive environment is vital.
Qualifications and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and a CDA or Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education is a plus. Previous experience in childcare or a related field is strongly preferred, and applicants must be certified in First Aid and CPR or willing to obtain these certifications upon hire.
Additional Requirements:
The Daycare Assistant must pass a background check, drug screening, and TB testing. You must be comfortable with a pet-friendly environment and participating in outdoor activities with the children.
