Job Description:
Wanderlust Expeditions is looking for a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented General Manager Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing high-level administrative support to the General Manager, assisting in various administrative tasks including managing the General Manager's calendar, coordinating meetings and events, handling communication, managing databases, and overseeing special projects.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The General Manager Assistant's primary responsibilities include:
Managing the General Manager's calendar and scheduling appointments
Coordinating meetings, including preparing materials and setting up equipment
Drafting and editing correspondence, reports, and presentations
Fielding phone calls and emails
Making travel arrangements
Collecting data to support decision-making
Maintaining databases and generating reports
Assisting in budget tracking and financial record-keeping
Providing project management support
Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess:
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with project management
Experience:
A minimum of two years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in an assistant role to a senior executive.
Additional Requirements:
Availability to travel, a valid passport, and a clean driving record are necessary for this position.
