Responsibilities and Duties
Support data collection activities in the field by following established protocols and procedures
Gather accurate and relevant information, recording observations or measurements as required
Maintain and clean field equipment regularly
Assist in preparing field sites for various activities, including research, construction, or surveys
Set up equipment, clear debris, and ensure the site is ready for the designated tasks
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Field Assistant, along with a strong understanding of the importance of data collection. They will have a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of recording observations and measurements, and a commitment to cleanliness and maintenance when it comes to field equipment. Prior experience in construction or surveys will be an advantage.
Additional Requirements
Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and be capable of lifting equipment and clearing debris as necessary. Weekend and flexible hours may be required, depending on the needs of the project or site.
