Job Title: News Analyst

Responsibilities and Duties
Examine and interpret news content across various sources
Provide insights, context, and relevant information based on news analyses
Prepare comprehensive reports on news patterns and trends
Liaise with news agencies, journalists, and other stakeholders in sourcing information
Present findings in an accessible and understandable manner to diverse audiences
Assist in the formulation of narratives and content development based on analyses
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficient in using news-gathering and analysis tools
Excellent writing and presentation skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Outstanding networking abilities and interpersonal skills
Experience
A minimum of two years experience as a news analyst, reporter, or equivalent role in a fast-paced news setting is required.
Additional Requirements
An interest in current events and a steadfast commitment to truth and fairness in reporting. An ability to work in a team environment and a willingness to work unusual hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required depending on news events.
