Job Title: Athletic Director, Program Development and Management
Stepping into the shoes of our Athletic Director, you are championing the mission of Excel Sports Academy, a place where passion meets dedication. You'll be at the helm of developing and executing comprehensive athletic programs, ensuring that everything aligns to the principles and values of our institution. Whether it's budgetary considerations, compliance concerns, team management, or student-athlete welfare, you’ll be the key driver.
Responsibilities and Duties
Develop and implement comprehensive athletic programs fitting with our institution's mission and values
Supervise and evaluate program effectiveness, implementing improvements as needed
Ensure that all athletic activities comply with the requirements of relevant governing bodies
Manage the athletic department budget and oversee fundraising initiatives
Recruit, hire and evaluate coaches and other athletic staff and foster their professional development
Promote the health, safety, and academic success of all student-athletes
Qualifications and Skills
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Sports Science, Physical Education, Sports Administration or a related field
Proven experience in sports management, preferably at an educational institution
Deep knowledge of sports programs, rules, and regulations
Strong managerial and leadership abilities
Exceptional budgeting and financial management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
