Job Title: Equipment Coordinator
GearMaster Solutions Inc. is seeking a meticulous and experienced Equipment Coordinator with expertise in inventory management. The ideal candidate should possess the capability to conduct thorough equipment inventories, maintain comprehensive records, and ensure all equipment complies with industry and safety standards.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct detailed inventories of all equipment and maintain up-to-date records of conditions and whereabouts.
Coordinate with procurement for the purchase and replacement of equipment.
Plan and oversee regular maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with industry and safety standards.
Liaise with external service providers as required.
Spearhead the distribution of equipment to various job sites or departments while managing logistics for efficient delivery.
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:
Proven experience in a similar role is essential, preferably within an equipment-intensive industry.
In-depth knowledge of inventory management and understanding of safety standards.
Demonstrated proficiency in managing logistics and strong coordination skills.
Exceptional record-keeping and organisational abilities.
Good understanding of procurement processes.
Additional Requirements:
A certified course in Inventory Management or Supply Chain will be an advantage.
