Responsibilities and Duties
Your primary role as the Guidance Coordinator will be to help students navigate through academic, personal, and career-related concerns. You’ll work closely with our team of teachers and administrators to integrate counseling services into the overall educational program. As such, your responsibilities include:
Providing comprehensive guidance and counseling services for students
Collaborating with teachers and administrators to implement and enhance guidance programs
Facilitating interventions for students when necessary
Promoting a positive, supportive learning environment
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
For this role, we're looking for candidates with:
A willingness to collaborate with a team of educators
Strong counseling and guidance skills
Experience in facilitating interventions for students
An understanding of the role of counseling in an educational program
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Necessary Experience
You will need previous experience in a similar role in a school or university setting, along with a solid background in counseling and guidance services.
Additional Requirements
We require a professional qualification in counseling or a related field. Also, due to the nature of the university environment, a background check will be carried out on the successful candidate.
