Responsibilities and Duties

Your primary role as the Guidance Coordinator will be to help students navigate through academic, personal, and career-related concerns. You’ll work closely with our team of teachers and administrators to integrate counseling services into the overall educational program. As such, your responsibilities include:

• Providing comprehensive guidance and counseling services for students

• Collaborating with teachers and administrators to implement and enhance guidance programs

• Facilitating interventions for students when necessary

• Promoting a positive, supportive learning environment

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies

For this role, we're looking for candidates with:

• A willingness to collaborate with a team of educators

• Strong counseling and guidance skills

• Experience in facilitating interventions for students

• An understanding of the role of counseling in an educational program

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Necessary Experience

You will need previous experience in a similar role in a school or university setting, along with a solid background in counseling and guidance services.

Additional Requirements

We require a professional qualification in counseling or a related field. Also, due to the nature of the university environment, a background check will be carried out on the successful candidate.
