Job Title: Accountant
We're seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our hardworking team at Alton Advertising. The role encompasses maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, assisting in budget creation and management, overseeing expenditures, and ensuring company operations adhere to financial plans.
Responsibilities and Duties
Maintain precise and current ledger entries and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Assist in the creation, management, and implementation of firm budgets.
Monitor corporate expenditures for accuracy and consistency.
Ensure adherence to financial plans.
Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members on financial planning and decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
Proven experience in accounting or similar positions.
Excellent grasp of financial and accounting principles.
Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel) and accounting software systems.
Sharp analytical abilities and aptitude for numbers.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Necessary Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting or a related field.
- Prior experience in the advertising or media industries is advantageous.
Additional Requirements
Must be eligible to work in the United States and willing to work from Alton Advertisinga's main office in Englewood, NM.
