Job Title: Technical Accountant, Financial Reporting and Analysis

Job Description:

CyberShield Technologies, Inc. is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Technical Accountant to join our team. The Technical Accountant will play a vital role in maintaining and analyzing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing support during audits. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), hands-on experience with ledger entries, and expertise in new accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

Preparing and analyzing financial statements according to GAAP.
Maintaining financial records, which includes general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
Assisting during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
Interpreting new accounting standards, policies, and regulations.
Providing guidance on implementation of accounting changes and their impacts on financial statements.
Ensuring compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, or other applicable standards.
Collaborating with external auditors during annual financial audits and regulatory reviews.
Preparing audit schedules, supporting documents and responding to audit inquiries.

Qualification and Skills:

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Thorough understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
Excellent capability to interpret and implement new accounting standards.
Proven experience with external audit processes.

Additional Requirements:

Pro-active, self-starter, with the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Excel.
