The prospective candidate will have the responsibility of ensuring coherent and strict adherence to the company’s financial standards and compliance with GAAP. This critical role offers the opportunity to impact the company's financial processes and controls positively.
Responsibilities and Duties
Your duties as an Audit Accountant will include:
Working with the audit team to develop robust audit plans and objectives for comprehensive coverage of financial processes and controls.
Thoroughly reviewing financial statements, accounting records, and supporting documents to assess their accuracy and completeness.
Identifying potential risks and control weaknesses in financial processes and providing solutions to mitigate these risks.
Ensuring rigorous compliance to company policies, GAAP and other relevant regulatory requirements.
Maintaining and managing detailed audit documentation including, findings, and improvement recommendations.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate for the Audit Accountant role should possess the following:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Outstanding knowledge and experience in Audit Accounting and audit planning.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP.
