StoneBridge Builders, Inc. is seeking a capable and diligent Business Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role will demand an astute understanding of accounting procedures and a knack for financial record keeping. The ideal candidate will exhibit a keen attention to detail, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to efficiently manage various accounting responsibilities related to financial statements, tax compliance, and reporting.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Maintain precise and current financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries

• Reconcile financial discrepancies and rectify errors, upkeeping the integrity of financial data

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Generate financial reports and provide insights to support management decision-making

• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring variances and recommending corrective actions

• Stay informed about tax law changes and suggest strategies for tax optimization

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Business Accounting or related field

• Proven experience in a similar role

• Strong financial analysis skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software

• Attentive to detail and accuracy

Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years in a business accounting role is required.
