StoneBridge Builders, Inc. is seeking a capable and diligent Business Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role will demand an astute understanding of accounting procedures and a knack for financial record keeping. The ideal candidate will exhibit a keen attention to detail, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to efficiently manage various accounting responsibilities related to financial statements, tax compliance, and reporting.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Maintain precise and current financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
Reconcile financial discrepancies and rectify errors, upkeeping the integrity of financial data
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Generate financial reports and provide insights to support management decision-making
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring variances and recommending corrective actions
Stay informed about tax law changes and suggest strategies for tax optimization

Qualifications and Skills:

Degree in Business Accounting or related field
Proven experience in a similar role
Strong financial analysis skills
Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
Attentive to detail and accuracy

Experience:

A minimum of 5 years in a business accounting role is required.
