Job Description:
UrbanScape Property Developers, a leading figure in property development, is actively seeking a seasoned Construction Accounting Manager to spearhead our financial record keeping, budget management, and overall financial analysis in our robust portfolio of construction projects. The successful candidate will need to be methodical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Your key duties will include, but not be limited to:
Keeping accurate and up-to-date financial records for construction projects, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
Recording all financial transactions in our accounting software.
Working alongside project managers to draft project budgets and monitor expenses.
Tracking project costs and delivering regular budget vs. actual reports.
Managing accounts payable by ensuring our vendors and suppliers are paid in a timely manner.
Overseeing accounts receivable, including invoicing clients and pursuing outstanding payments.
Creating financial statements and reports to analyse the financial performance of our construction projects.
Identifying cost-saving opportunities and recommending actions to increase project profitability.
Allocating project costs accurately to specific jobs or departments and ensuring indirect and overhead costs are appropriately distributed.
Qualifications and Skills:
