Job Description:
SilverHope Academy is looking for a dedicated and meticulous Attendance Officer to join our team. Their key responsibility will be the efficient and effective management of all attendance-related matters. They will maintain our robust attendance records and continually identify trends and patterns of absenteeism. This critical role requires a strong capability to communicate, collaborate and provide much-needed support to students and teachers alike, to achieve a healthy attendance record.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The Attendance Officer will:
Ensure precise attendance records for students & employees, utilizing electronic or paper-based systems.
Regularly scrutinize attendance data, identifying and exploring patterns of absenteeism.
Get in touch with absent individuals, determining their reasons & circumstances.
Adhere and make sure all comply with the policies and regulations established by the academy regarding attendance.
Create and present attendance reports to supervisors, administrators, and other relevant parties.
Collaborate with students, parents, guardians, teachers and department heads, on attendance issues.
Create and set forth strategies to boost attendance rates, like counseling, incentives or attendance improvement plans.
Provide guidance to individuals facing challenges with attendance and connect them with appropriate resources.
Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant area of study.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in managing records, data analysis, and report generation.
Skilled in the use of attendance monitoring software.
