Job Title: Healthcare Accounting Manager
A leading healthcare organization is looking for a Healthcare Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations across various healthcare units. The responsible individual will monitor and optimize the financial resources of hospitals, clinics, medical practices, and other healthcare-related entities with precision.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a Healthcare Accounting Manager, your significant tasks will include, but will not be limited to:
Overseeing daily financial activities of the organization.
Developing and maintaining financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
Presentation and explanation of financial information to non-financial managers.
Preparation of annual budgets and monitoring revenues and expenditures in comparison to budget.
Meeting statutory obligations regarding financial reporting, taxation, and corporate governance.
Skills and Competencies
Proficiency in budget planning, financial forecasting, and financial analysis.
Sound experience in applying accounting principles and procedures.
Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and the ability to work unsupervised.
Proficient with accounting software and MS Office applications.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, a master’s degree is preferred.
A professional accounting qualification such as CPA or CMA is preferred.
Minimum of six years experience managing a complex enterprise's financial and accounting practices.
