Job Description:

The successful candidate will take the reins in executing essential billing operations, streamlining processes, and maintaining sterling customer interactions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The Billing Officer will be tasked with:
Generating and processing invoices for products or services offered to clients.
Verifying the accuracy of billing data, including prices, quantities, and discounts.
Ensuring invoices are timely delivered to clients using the preferred method (email, mail, etc.)
Maintaining an organized record of all billing transactions.
Identifying and implementing automation opportunities to streamline billing procedures.
Responding to customer inquiries regarding billing, payments, and account statements.
Resolving billing discrepancies and disputes promptly and professionally.
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:
The successful candidate should possess:
A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as a Billing Officer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of billing procedures and best practices.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office and data entry software.
Exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written.
