Job Title: Cost Accountant

This role requires performing detailed cost analyses about various products, services, or processes, and developing and monitoring budgets for different departments or projects. The successful candidate will analyze and communicate these findings to facilitate the decision-making process and contribute strategies for operational improvement.

A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Experience with cost analyses and budgeting.
Evidence of strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Exceptional ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a Cost Accountant, your main duties will include:
Conducting detailed cost analyses on various products, services, or processes
Developing, monitoring, and analyzing budgets for different departments or projects
Communicating the findings and facilitating discussions on cost-related decisions
Proposing strategies for operational improvement based on the analyses.
Experience
Ideal candidates should have at least two years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on cost accounting and budget development.
Additional Requirements
Strong organizational skills, proficiency with accounting software, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially are required. ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent certification is a plus.
