Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
The candidate should possess the following:
A bachelor’s degree in a related field; a master's degree would be advantageous
Proficiency in vendor management software
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
Knowledge of procurement ethics, laws, and regulations
Strong business acumen and an ability to assimilate and process information quickly
Previous work experience in procurement roles
Responsibilities and Duties
Developing procurement strategies aimed at efficient purchasing of goods and services
Establishing strong relationships with suppliers and managing contracts
Negotiating prices, terms, and delivery methods
Ensuring quality and timely delivery of goods and services
Conducting regular procurement audits and preparing reports
