Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse

Wade Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse committed to providing exceptional healthcare and support during mothers' most beautiful yet demanding moments of bringing life into this world. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional ability to monitor and assess the health of pregnant women during labor, ensuring proper navigation during the whole delivery process, and providing postpartum care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Monitor and assess the health of pregnant women during labor.

• Provide physical and emotional support throughout the delivery process.

• Address and manage complications that may arise during labor and delivery.

• Assisting with the delivery process alongside other medical professionals.

• Provide immediate care and support for both the mother and newborn after delivery.

• Document and report any unusual, potentially dangerous medical conditions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Current and valid RN license.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse.

• Exceptional understanding of the delivery process and postpartum care.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively under extreme stress.

Necessary Experience

• Previous professional experience in a hospital setting, specifically in a labor and delivery unit.

Additional Requirements

• BLS and ACLS certification.

• Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Physical stamina to work long hours standing or walking.
