Job Title: Company Nurse
We are currently searching for a qualified Company Nurse to join our supportive team. The primary role is to provide necessary first aid and emergency responses to staff, monitor health conditions, conduct assessments, and manage healthcare programs to promote overall employee health.
Responsibilities and Duties
As our Company Nurse, your daily duties will include administering first aid to employees, assessing health conditions in emergencies, tracking signs of employee health, and executing effective workplace health programs. You will also work hand-in-hand with company management to enhance our current strategies and establish effective health benchmarks within the company.
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
Strong candidates for this role will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, an active RN registration, and a solid understanding of workplace health and safety practices. Necessary skills include exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, keen attention to detail, and accuracy in record-keeping, assessment, and first aid. It is also vital that you maintain confidentiality and demonstrate genuine empathy.
Experience
Previous experience within a company setting as a nurse is ideal but not mandatory. Experience in providing first aid and conducting health assessments will give you a solid foundation for this role.
Additional Requirements
Must hold a valid Practicing License and be CPR certified. A professional background in occupational health would be an advantage.
