Job Title: Dermatology Nurse

A Dermatology Nurse specializes in health and skin conditions. As an essential link between the doctor and the patient, they not only conduct initial patient assessments but also provide pre and post procedure care along with necessary health education. This role demands precise knowledge and skills to promote skin health and support treatments.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Evaluate patients' skin health

• Assist doctors during dermatological procedures

• Provide post-procedure care

• Educate patients about skincare and disease prevention

• Document and update patient records

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

• Registered Nurse license

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing

• Certification in Dermatology Nursing (not necessary but advantageous)

• Proven experience in a clinical or hospital setting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent understanding of patient care

• Good knowledge of healthcare databases and medical software

• Ability to work independently as well as function within a team
