Job Title: Character Designer
We are on the lookout for a talented Character Designer to join our thriving, creative team. The hired individual will craft unique character designs that align with our project's creative vision and storytelling requirements, working in collaboration with writers, animators, and other professionals. This full-time role is based at our vibrant studio located at 2845 Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 94901.
Responsibilities and Duties
The successful candidate will:

Develop unique and visually compelling characters consistent with project narratives

Collaborate effectively with writers and animators to maintain narrative continuity

Adjust character designs based on feedback from creative directors and other professionals

Present finalized designs to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the project's overarching creative vision.
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
The ideal candidate will possess:

A degree in Fine Arts, Illustration, Animation, or a related field

A strong design portfolio demonstrating innovative character design

Proven ability to work effectively within a team of creative professionals

Exceptional communication skills and ability to convey a desired narrative effectively

A passion for storytelling and the ability to translate narratives into compelling character designs
Experience
A minimum of 2 years in a similar role in the gaming industry or an animation studio is expected.
