Job Title: IT Automation Engineer

GameWare Studios is currently searching for an experienced IT Automation Engineer. The IT Automation Engineer will focus on the design, implementation, and maintenance of automation within our IT environment. With your expertise in tools like Ansible, Puppet, or similar automation frameworks, you will develop and maintain automation scripts, workflows, and processes. Additionally, your role will involve managing configuration, implementing version control, and setting up monitoring and alert systems.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Identify and implement automation opportunities within our IT environment.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts, workflows, and processes using automation frameworks such as Ansible or Puppet.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all automation procedures and workflows.

  • Manage and maintain configuration management tools to ensure consistency across servers and infrastructure.

  • Set up and manage monitoring systems, including configuring alerts and notifications for the team.

  • Work proactively to pre-empt potential IT issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as an IT Automation Engineer or in a similar role.

  • Expertise in automation frameworks such as Ansible, Puppet, or similar tools.

  • Experience with configuration management and version control.

  • Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
