Job Title: Business Education Teacher
Serenity Prep is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Business Education Teacher with a focus on Curriculum Development. The selected candidate would primarily be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive, up-to-date business education curriculum that aligns with national or state standards. The role promises a vibrant and collaborative work environment with an emphasis on pedagogical excellence.
Qualifications and Skills:
The prospective candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in business, Education, or a related field. A teaching certification is also a necessity. Prior experience in curriculum development and instructional design would be advantageous. The candidate must have excellent verbal communication skills and a knack for simplifying complex business concepts for a younger audience. Exceptional team building and classroom management skills are also a must-have.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop and implement a comprehensive and up-to-date business education curriculum that aligns with state or national standards. Deliver effective, engaging lessons to students, ensuring the content is relevant and age appropriate. Regularly assess student progress through quizzes, tests, and examinations, and provide constructive feedback. Maintain a positive classroom environment, foster respect, promote collaboration among students, and manage classroom behavior effectively. Utilize a range of teaching materials to enhance the learning experience.
Necessary Experience:
A minimum of three years of teaching experience, preferably in the field of business education, is desired. Prior experience in curriculum development will be greatly valued.
Additional Requirements:
Familiarity with the usage of modern educational technology is a must. The candidate should also be willing to participate in school events and parent-teacher meetings.
