Job Title: Aerospace Engineer
We are currently seeking a driven and experienced Aerospace Engineer for Solas Corporation. The right candidate will contribute significantly to the design and development of aircraft components or systems, with a dedicated focus on meeting and surpassing safety and performance standards.
Responsibilities and Duties
The responsibilities of the Aerospace Engineer will include but not be limited to:
Designing and developing aircraft components or systems adhering to strict regulations and specifications.
Conducting in-depth analysis of aerospace systems encompassing areas like aerodynamics, materials, and structural integrity.
Ensuring compliance of all designs and developments with safety and performance standards.
Leading the testing and refining process for aerospace systems, ensuring alignment with set specifications.
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
The potential candidate must possess:
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering or a relevant field.
A comprehensive understanding of aerospace systems, aerodynamics, and materials.
The ability to ensure design and development compliance with safety and performance standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
The ability to work in a team-oriented environment and guide collaborative efforts.
Necessary Experience
Proven experience in the design and development of aerospace systems or equivalent is strongly preferred. A track record of ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards is a must.
Additional Requirements
The candidate should be willing to travel as necessary and possess excellent written and oral communication skills. The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally is essential.
