Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
Candidates for this role should showcase the following:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Knowledge in cloud computing operations and cloud service provider platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, etc.
Ability to design and implement cloud infrastructure, services, and solutions.
Aptitude for problem-solving and managing multiple projects concurrently.
Effectiveness in working within a team-based environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Cloud Engineer will:
Provide innovative cloud computing solutions and architectures for cloud-based systems.
Assist in establishing a cloud architecture and coordinating the migration of existing systems to the cloud.
Conduct regular system audits, and analyze current processes and systems for possible improvements.
Maintain cloud security and develop protocols in the event of a breach.
Experience
Applicants must have:
At least 3 years of experience in cloud services administration, infrastructure design, and server management.
Prior experience in troubleshooting and cloud systems management.
Experience in using programming and infrastructure automation tools.
