Responsibilities and Duties:
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Reliability Analysis: Conduct in-depth evaluations and inspections to recognize potential failure routes and their operational impacts.
Root Cause Analysis: Head investigations into equipment failures to pinpoint root causes and establish effective resolutions to stop recurrences.
Maintenance Strategies: Formulate and instigate proactive maintenance strategies, such as preventative and predictive maintenance programs, to enhance equipment consistency.
Data Analysis: Gather and methodically analyze equipment performance data to make knowledgeable decisions about maintenance intervals and resource allotment.
Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA): Become intimate with FMEA studies to evaluate potential failure modes, rank them based on criticality, and develop risk mitigation measures.
Qualifications and Skills:
The essential qualifications for the Reliability Engineer position are:
A Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
Previous experience in reliability engineering or a related field.
Proven record of utilizing FMEA.
Proficient knowledge in predictive and preventative maintenance programs.
Excellent skills in data collection and data analysis.
