Behavior Specialist
We are hiring for the position of Special Education Behavior Specialist at Greenest Academy. In this role, you will focus on catering to the individual needs of our students, specifically those facing behavioral challenges. You will lead the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans, and contribute to the overall well-being and progress of our students.
Responsibilities and Duties
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Develop and implement tailored behavior intervention plans to support individual students.

Monitor and document progress toward achieving were behavioral goals outlined in the IEP.

Provide training to teachers, support staff, and parents on strategies to manage and support students with behavioral challenges.
Qualifications and Skills

A degree in Special Education or a related field.

Practical experience in behavioral intervention strategies.

Adept at working with a diverse range of students facing behavioral challenges.

Possess excellent communication skills to liaise with teachers, staff, and parents.
Experience
Previous experience working in a similar role is highly preferred, particularly within the field of Special Education. The ability to formulate effective behavior intervention plans is key to this role.
Additional Requirements
Must be able to successfully pass a background check and have valid certification in Special Education.
