Job Title: Curator of Education
We are seeking a Curator of Education to develop and supervise educational programs and activities within our esteemed cultural institution. This role requires an individual who can create and nurture an environment of learning through engaging, innovative experiences that bring our collections to life.
Responsibilities and Duties
Reporting directly to the Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

Planning, developing, and implementing educational programs and events that complement our exhibitions and collections

Working on grant proposals to source funding for educational projects

Training and managing a team of education staff and volunteers

Developing and managing partnerships with schools, universities, and other community organizations

Ensuring all programs follow health and safety guidelines and meet the objectives of our institution
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
The ideal candidate will have:

A Masters degree in a related field (education, museum studies, art history, etc.)

Proven working experience in a similar role within a museum or cultural institution

Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills

An innovative and creative approach to programming

Excellent oral and written communication skills
