Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Zenith Estates Development is seeking to hire a seasoned Construction Superintendent. The successful candidate will be adept at planning and scheduling, with keen eyes for detail and a commitment to excellent team management. The main focus will be to collaborate with project managers to create detailed project plans and ensure all construction projects run to schedule, safely and within the laid-out guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate should have superior organizational skills, an excellent ability to delegate responsibilities, exceptional problem-solving skills, outstanding project management skills, and proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software (e.g., Procore or similar). Successful candidates should also understand various construction techniques, procedures, materials and bring with them exceptional knowledge of construction details and building codes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The Construction Superintendent will:

Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed project plans and schedules.
Ensure that construction projects are executed according to established timelines.
Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion.
Supervise and coordinate construction crews and subcontractors on-site.
Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, including foremen and laborers.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members as needed.
Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety guidelines and regulations.
Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
Investigate and report any accidents or safety violations.

Experience:

Applicants should have at least 5 years previous working experience in the construction industry, and particularly as a Construction Superintendent or similar role.

Additional Requirements:

Must be willing to travel to various site locations, work under different weather conditions, and be flexible with work hours when necessary.
