Job Title: Construction Detailer

This professional will be responsible for creating, updating, and revising construction drawings, blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accuracy, design intent reflection, and regulatory requirement adherence. Collaboration and effective communication will constitute vital aspects of the job as the successful candidate works with architects, engineers, project managers, among other stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The Construction Detailer will be expected to:

Create and update construction drawings, blueprints, plans, and specifications to guarantee their fidelity to the design intent and compliance with regulatory protocols.
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to better understand project goals, design concepts, and technical requirements.
Review and revise architectural and engineering drawings, applying the necessary adjustments to ensure feasibility and compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Assist in material quantity and labor cost estimates for construction projects and collaborate with project managers to uphold cost-effective practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

Intimate knowledge of construction Blueprint, and Plans.
Proficiency in using CAD software.
Demonstrable skills in cost estimation and budgeting.
Excellent communication and collaborative abilities.
A keen eye for detail and organization.

Additional Requirements:

5+ years' experience as a Construction Detailer or similar role.
Professional certification (e.g., Certified Construction Manager) is a plus.
