Job Role & Summary
Human Resource Assistant directly reports, but is not limited to, the Human Resource Officer/Manager. A Human Resource Assistant can assist other officers in the same and affiliated department such as Payroll Clerk, Accounting Officers or the Chief Operating Officer if necessary.
Responsibilities
- Providing and sourcing job candidates and applicants.
- Obtaining potential candidates by advertising about the job vacancy or reaching help from external sources, such as employment agencies or institutions.
- Phone screening for online applicants.
- Scheduling series of interviews for the qualified applicants who passed the initial interview and series of tests.
Skills
- Must be able to operate different computer programs and applications such as Microsoft Office, instant messaging apps, email domains, web domains, basic tools.
- Must know how to do basic computer troubleshooting.
- Must know telephone and other communication device techniques.
- Excellent in creating tables and graphs in a spreadsheet software
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in [SPECIFY HERE] (or any other related course)
- [NUMBER] years experience as a human resource employee is not necessary, but preferable
- Familiar with timekeeping or willing to be trained
- Familiar with any pre-employment testing materials or willing to be trained
