Job Role & Summary
A Mechanical Research Engineer is responsible for conducting mechanical research in the company. He or she is responsible for determining how machines can accomplish a single task. He or she is also responsible for redesigning machines if it needs to perform efficiently. A Mechanical Research Engineer will conduct research and submit proposals about innovative products that will be beneficial for both the company and the public.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for conducting mechanical research in the company to conduct innovative products or machines.
- Responsible for determining how a single machine or product eliminates difficulties in accomplishing a single task.
- Responsible for designing and redesigning machines that will perform efficiently.
- Conducts research and submit proposals regarding innovative products or machines that will benefit both the company and the public.
- Scours the necessary tools and equipment needed for the construction of the product or machine.
- Upgrade the current products or machines of the company.
- Conducts tests on new machines and products if they are effective or not before deeming it usable.
- Ensures that the projects are completed ahead of the schedule.

Qualifications
- Must possess a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- A master's degree in mechanical engineering is an advantage.
- Must be a Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
- Must possess at least 4-5 years of relevant experience.
- Must possess excellent creative abilities to design products or machines.
- Can work with minimal supervision.
- Must be comfortable with multi-tasking due to the number of deadlines needed to be met.
