Accounting Manager
Paxton Builders is on the lookout for a skilled Construction Accounting Manager. Our ideal candidate is a dedicated magnate with numbers who possess practical insights into the construction world. You will meticulously manage construction project budgets to make sure they are on point and in line with financial guidelines. You will conduct cost analysis, marshal necessary cost savings, and coordinate financial audits. A primary part of your mission will be making sure everything we do sails smoothly through the stormy seas of accounting standards.
Qualifications and Skills

Capable of handling multiple projects, managing project budgets, and being remarkably accurate.
Top-of-the-line financial auditing and accounting skills. You need to know the ins and outs of the dollars touching our projects.
Tangible cost analysis skills. You should be able to sniff out cost savings at a glance.
In-depth comprehension of financial procedures and ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a Construction Accounting Manager, you will:
Manage construction project budgets in line with company guidelines.
Conduct astute cost analysis for our construction projects, and spearhead cost savings without compromising on quality.
Coordinate all financial audits, ensuring compliance with standard accounting practices.
Work closely with Project Managers to understand project specifications and financial requirements.
Experience
A minimum of five years of experience in accounting within the construction industry is required. Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is an added advantage.
