Responsibilities and Duties

• Developing and planning innovative menus for large-scale food production in line with customer preferences.

• Managing the operations of the kitchen including procurement of ingredients and staff supervision.

• Upholding the highest standards of food safety and hygiene in all kitchen operations.

• Assuring meals possess a variety of nutritional balances.

Skills and Competencies

• Proven culinary expertise and skill in menu development.

• Outstanding knowledge of food production and safety procedures.

• Exceptional creativity and attention to detail.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Qualifications

A minimum of five years experience in a similar role in a high-volume food production environment. Culinary education or comparable experience is required. Any health and safety food handling certification would be considered highly beneficial.
