Job Title: Critical Care Specialist
As a Critical Care Specialist, your principal obligation includes conducting meticulous assessments of critically ill patients. A keen interpretation of physiological data to identify the rapid changes in patient condition is critical.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Perform comprehensive assessments of critically ill patients, including vital signs, neurological status, and respiratory function.
Continuously monitor and interpret physiological data, such as ECG readings and lab results.
Assess pain levels and administer appropriate medications and interventions as necessary.
Administer medications, fluids, and blood products according to physician orders and established protocols.
Monitor patients for adverse reactions to medications and intervene promptly as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
Nationally certified in Critical Care.
Proficient in interpreting ECG readings and lab results.
Solid communication skills.
Excellent ability for quick decision-making in high stress scenarios.
Sound working knowledge of medical protocols and regulations.
Experience
Proven track record of critical patient care, preferably in a hospital setting.
Experience in administering medications and interpreting adverse reactions.
