Job Title: Youth Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to fill the role of Youth Worker in our community-based organization. As a Youth Worker, your main focus will be on the well-being and development of young people within our community. Your ultimate goal is to support, mentor, motivate, and engage the youth, championing their potential and facilitating their development.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Youth Studies, Psychology, or a related field

• Experience working with young people in a professional setting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to proactively identify and respond to the needs of young people

• Conflict resolution and crisis management skills

Responsibilities and Duties

Your responsibilities and duties as a Youth Worker will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Working closely with young people to identify their needs, problems, and aspirations

• Providing mentorship, guidance, and support to marginalized and at-risk youth

• Implementing programs that promote self-confidence, resilience, and healthy development among young people

• Collaborating with families, schools, and other community agencies to assist young people
