Job Title: Data Center Technician

As a Data Center Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and robustness of our Data Center. Your primary responsibilities will include the installation, maintenance, and technical support related to the hardware and infrastructure within a data center. The job requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Installing, maintaining, and supporting hardware and infrastructure.

• Ensuring system stability, security, and performance expectations.

• Implementing updates and upgrades as needed.

• Performing troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems.

• Maintaining an inventory of installed software, and managing software licensing.

• Documenting procedures, standards, best practices configurations, settings, installation sequences, and back-out instructions.
  

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies

• Associate's degree in a computer field or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Strong understanding of Data Center Operation and Network infrastructure.

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair servers, switching/routing equipment, and cabling infrastructure.

• Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Experience

At least two years of work experience in a data center or a related technical field is preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Familiarity with compliance and security procedures within a data center.

• Ready to work in shifts and in an on-call rotation.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
