Job Title: Farm and Ranch Manager
We're looking for a hardworking, dedicated, and experienced Farm and Ranch Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of our farming and ranching operations, from crop production and animal handling to staff management and financials.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The Farm and Ranch Manager will:
Oversee and manage day-to-day farming operations, with a focus on both crops and animal livestock
Plan, develop, and direct the planting, cultivation, and harvest of crops
Establish and carry out a livestock management program
Supervise farm and ranch staff, ensure work is completed efficiently, and address any staff concerns
Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of farm machinery and equipment
Manage financial aspects, including budgeting, reporting, and record keeping
Ensure all farming activities comply with government regulations and safety standards
Qualifications and Skills:
A successful Farm and Ranch Manager must have:
A bachelor's degree in agriculture or related field
Proven experience as a Farm and Ranch Manager
Strong knowledge of farming best practices and different types of agricultural machinery and equipment
Familiarity with MS Office and database systems
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
