Job Title: Assistant Conservation Officer
We are in the market for an Assistant Conservation Officer who is passionate about preserving our environment and its resources. Responsibilities and Duties:
Work under the supervision of the Senior Conservation Officer to manage and enhance the natural environment in our designated areas
Prepare, develop, and deliver education and public awareness activities focused on conservation activities.
Aid in conservation patrols and law enforcement related activities
Ensure that flora and fauna are protected and managed sustainably
Qualifications:
Relevant academic qualifications or equivalent experience in field related to environmental science, biology, or conservation
Knowledge in ecological principles, plant and animal species, and habitat management
Experience in conducting and reporting environmental surveys
First Aid Certification
Skills and Competencies:
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Effective communication, both written and verbal
Data collection, analysis and management skills.
