We are looking for a diligent and analytical Government Auditor to join our team. The Government Auditor will conduct and oversee financial and systems audits, ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies. The role involves thorough financial record analyses, risk assessments, and generating comprehensive audit findings reports.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Plan, implement, and oversee various operational and financial audits.

• Analyze data to determine financial risks and ensure they comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

• Prepare detailed reports outlining audit processes, findings, and recommendations.

• Provide advice and guidance to promote risk control improvements.

• Follow up on the status of previously identified audit issues to ensure appropriate resolution.

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

• Previous audit experience, preferably in government institutions.

• Excellent numerical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to interpret and analyze financial data.

• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, and ethics.

Necessary Experience

• At least two years of experience in a relevant field.

• Experience with data analysis, financial reporting, and statistical tools.

• Prior experience in performing comprehensive audits is preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Certification as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.

• Must be legally allowed to work in the country of hire.
