Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Earth Science or related field.
Minimum of 3 years in the exploration and mining geology sector.
Solid understanding of the techniques associated with ore body modelling and mine planning.
Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects and operating mining equipment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform geological mapping, mine design, production planning and reserve guidance.
Analyze geological information and provide guidance on extraction.
Review mining operations and advise on necessary optimisations.
Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly geologic mapping at various detail levels.
