Job Title: Mining Camp Manager

A gutsy and resilient manager is currently needed in our mining camp to manage the daily operations improve our mining processes and ensure we meet appropriate safety standards. This role is critical to ensure we are a competitive player in the mining industry and safeguard that we continue growing.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Overseeing all mining camp operations and maintenance, including inspecting facilities and equipment to manage repairs and maintenance.

• Executing the deployment of all safety and compliance procedures and ensuring the health and safety of all staff.

• Managing employee productivity, providing constructive feedback and coaching, and facilitating professional development.

• Preparing cost estimates, budgets, work plans and timetables.

• Reporting regular status updates to higher management, communicating variances in budget and schedule.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field, with significant experience in mining or similar industry.

• A proven track-record in managing mining operations, with an understanding of mining facilities and safety requirements.

• Strong leadership skills, the ability to handle pressure, handle multi-tasking, and a 'get-it-done' attitude.

• Flawless communication and reporting skills.

• Knowledge of project management principles.

Necessary Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in a relevant management position within the mining industry is required.
