Job Title: Underground Miner

Get your hands dirty in our underground mine environment as an Underground Miner. In this role, you'll be a critical component of our operations, working in the bowels of our mines to ensure safe and efficient operations. We seek strong and dedicated individuals who seek physical challenges. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Operate underground mining machines to extract coal, metal, and nonmetal ores, rock, sand, or other materials.

• Safely blast and remove earth to expose coal and haul it to the surface.

• Ensure strict adherence to all safety guidelines and protocols.

• Inspect mining areas for unsafe structures, equipment, and working conditions.

• Execute tasks assigned by the mine supervisor and maintain communication regarding progress and issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Prior experience in mining is preferred however, training will be provided.

• Must be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy weights and standing for extended periods.

• Familiarity with mine safety procedures and guidelines, and emergency response protocols.

• Good interpersonal communication skills for effective teamwork.

Necessary Experience:

Experience in a similar role is preferable, although not essential. In-depth training will be provided for the right candidate.

Additional Requirements:

All applicants are required to pass a physical fitness test and a background check. Due to the nature of the position, candidates must be willing to work irregular hours and shifts.
