Job Title: Insurance Biller
As an Insurance Biller, you will be responsible for verifying patient eligibility, interpreting insurance plans, and handling billing procedures. Your expertise will help our patients understand their claims while ensuring smooth operations within our office.
Qualifications and Skills
A high school diploma or equivalent education. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Office, with a strong grip on Excel and experience with billing software.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities and Duties
Reviewing patient bills for accuracy and completeness.
Submitting claims to insurance companies.
Following up on unpaid claims.
Researching and appealing denied claims.
Answering all patient or insurance telephone inquiries about assigned accounts.
Experience
Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable. However, we are willing to provide training for highly motivated candidates.
