Job Title: Fashion Buyer

As our new Fashion Buyer, your job is to predict fashion trends, source new and innovative products, purchase inventory, negotiate with suppliers, and deliver product ranges that will drive our sales and increase profitability.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Analyze consumer buying patterns and predict future trends.

• Source new and review existing goods to ensure their products remain competitive.

• Work closely with visual display staff and department heads to decide how goods should be displayed to maximize customer interest and sales.

• Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers.

• Manage and motivate a team, delegate work, and set deadlines.

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies

• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or any related field.

• Solid knowledge of the fashion industry and market trends.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.

• Strong analytical and forecasting skills.

• Strong eye for visual merchandising.
