Job Summary/Objective:

As an Environmental Safety Officer, you'll be vital in ensuring that our working conditions adhere to all safety and environmental regulations. Moreover, you will be in charge of creating safety protocols, conducting training sessions on environmental safety practices, and acting as the point of contact with regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Inspect and assess workplace environments for compliance with safety and environmental standards.

• Develop and implement safety protocols to minimize environmental risks.

• Investigate incidents and accidents related to environmental safety.

• Engage with regulatory agencies to ensure strict adherence to environmental laws.

Qualifications:

We prefer candidates who hold a diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field. Proven experience in a similar role and proficiency in all regulations pertaining to environmental safety are also required.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and safety principles.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and decision-making skills.

• Experience in conducting and documenting thorough inspections.

• Ability to conduct training sessions and explain complex information to different audiences.
