Maintain working knowledge of state-of-the-art tools or software by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications
Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary to procure replacement parts
Qualifications:
To be eligible for this job role, the individual must possess the following qualifications:
Hold a valid Electrical and Instrumentation Technician trade certificate
Minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar role
Must have a proven record of diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical faults
Ability to understand and work from technical drawings and diagrams
Experience in operating electronic testing equipment and tools
Skills and Competencies:
Excellent problem-solving skills
Good manual dexterity
Meticulous attention to detail
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
Proficient with the use of hand and power tools
